Y'all did a WONDERFUL job! I recently had the pleasure of working with Education USA staff for educational expos in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Medan. The staff at Education USA were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to meet our needs. Their events were extremely well organized, particularly their school visits and networking events. The fairs were also extremely well-attended, they know the education market in Indonesia inside and out, and are a great resource. I?m looking forward to partnering with them again in the future, and I highly recommend their services to colleges and universities recruiting in Indonesia.

The San Mateo Colleges made their first official visit to Indonesia March 2012. We were pleasantly surprised by the support provided by EducationUSA-AMENEF throughout the visit and at various venues organized by the EducationUSA staff. For example, we had help in all cities and never felt lost in making school visits, meeting with students and parents at fairs, or traveling. We had the distinct honor of joining a radio program to promote our three wonderful colleges (Ca?ada College, College of San Mateo and Skyline College) ? something exciting and unique. To top it off, the personal attention from the U.S. Embassy and Consular Offices as facilitated by Erica and her colleagues of EducationUSA was memorable.

Thank you very much for your hard work in organizing the recent fairs in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Medan! There were good numbers of potential students attending at each of the fairs. It was interesting to me that 90% of the students who came to my table wanted graduate program information. In previous fairs I have done in Indonesia, the graduate--undergraduate split was closer to 60%--40%. This is not a criticism of your organization, merely an observation of the inquiry percentage I received at these fairs. The accommodations, the transportation, and the receptions were all handled very well, thank you.

EducationUSA in Indonesia is an excellent fair organizer. The staffs are so friendly and helpful, and accommodate all of our needs. The fairs have attracted quite huge number of students. We have received some 2 applications at the fair. Student assistants had been trained about the education system and were really helpful to us. EducationUSA also connected us to some groups of students with scholarships and financial aid. Several students have contacted us to ask to apply. All logistic parts (hotel & transportation) were excellent. I was quite happy with the fair and will definitely join EducationUSA fair next time.

I thoroughly enjoyed the fair and tour activities ? the experience was smooth, productive, and well-organized. This is my third EducationUSA tour in Indonesia (I also participated in the February 2011 and October 2011 tours), and it has been such a pleasure working with Erica Sjarif and her team. They are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful.

 
The team does a fantastic and creative job marketing the events, and the crowd they draw is impressive.  I could hardly keep up with the visitors at my booth in both Jakarta and Surabaya (I was unable to visit Medan this time).  The volunteers Erica recruits are enthusiastic and friendly and provide valuable assistance during the fairs.   
 
We have already seen fruit from our participation in the EdUSA fairs in Indonesia, and we expect to continue recruiting with EducationUSA in Indonesia.  Our campus has made Indonesia a priority over the last couple of years, and our connections through the EducationUSA team in Jakarta have opened a number of doors for us.  Erica has introduced us to a number of fantastic schools in the Jakarta area, and I know the EdUSA advisors actively seek to develop relationships with local schools throughout the year.
 
Erica and her team work tirelessly with limited resources.  They are very professional and reach out to prospective students in such a variety of ways.  I can’t praise them enough for their efforts, and I look forward to collaborating with them again soon!

Sangat menantang. Ini kesan pertama saya ketika mengikuti program academic writing di AMINEF. Selama mengikuti program Foundation of Academic Writing, harapan saya untuk mendapatkan basic pengetahuan tentang kaidah menulis dalam bahasa Inggris terpenuhi. Setelah itu saya ikut studi Advance Academic Writing yang merupakan lanjutan dari program foundation. Kami dilatih oleh ahli linguistic, dosen di sebuah perguruan tinggi ternama di Jakarta yang pernah mendapatkan pendidikan dan tinggal lama di Amerika. Dengan demikian, saya merasa beruntung sekali karena ditangani oleh orang yang tepat. Banyak tugas dan latihan, inilah ciri khas program academic writing AMINEF karena dengan cara ini para peserta dituntut tidak hanya memiliki pemahaman yang baik tapi juga terampil dalam menulis.

The EducationUSA Fair's held in February (2011) were very successful and well organized. The Fairs enabled Montana State University to achieve a substantial amount of interest in the unique programs and scholarships that we offer Indonesian students. Further, I was personally impressed by the proactive and helpful demeanor of the EducationUSA leaders and staff. They were very friendly and attended to all of our needs in order to be successful at the Fair. I look forward to our next opportunity to attend one of their events and in collaborating with them more in helping Indonesian students fulfill their aspirations.
