Academic Writing Course: Foundation class

The Foundations of Academic Writing,

focus on the fundamentals of academic writing – grammar, sentence structure, paragraph construction.

The Foundation class will cover the following topics:

A. Phrases:  Types and function                     
B. Clauses: Types and function               
C. Sentences: Types
D. Main ideas: minor and major supporting sentences
E. Cohesion, coherence, and paragraph writing

The program is designed for prospective university students with a minimum TOEFL score of (Institutional or International) for:470 - 539

Class size:

A minimum of 8 students must be enrolled before a course can be held. 

EducationUSA Indonesia will limit the size of the class to no more than 12 students so that all students will have a quality experience.  Registration will be accepted on a “first-come-first-served”basis.

Certificate:

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all students who attend at least 90% classes of the course.
